If it is yes, why if I choose "Windows Default" sound scheme, beside "Windows Change Theme" (in program events list, in sound scheme setting) appear exclamation mark? How do I restore it like before refreshing my PC?.Is this normal if Windows 8 just has "Windows Default" sound scheme (All other sound scheme folders in C:\Windows\Media have no sound files)?.And something occured and I decided to refresh the PC. Go to Settings > Personalization and click on Themes in the right sidebar.
Follow the steps below to change the startup sound of your Windows 10 computer. I chose "keep personal files, settings, and programs" (that kept my themes). Note: If you run an older operating system on your computer, refer to this guide on changing startup sound on Windows XP, Win 7, and Win 8.
Before it happen, I was upgraded my Windows 7 Ultimate to Windows 8 Pro.
4) Go to the Enhancement tab, tick the box for Disable all sound effects. In all folder (such as in "Garden" folder). 3) In the Playback tab, right-click Default Device you have and click Properties. And, If I browse for a sound in C:\Windows\Media, there are no sound files From beneath the Program Events, you can select an event of which the sound you want to change. When you’re in Sounds, choose the Sounds tab which is the second tab. Then, type sounds in the search bar and click the Sounds icon. If I test the sound for a event, no sound heard. In order to open the Control Panel, Hold the Windows Key and Press X, Choose Control Panel. In the sound schemes setting (exactly in program events box, beside the list of events) some events show yellow exclamation mark. They appear in drop-down list. I choose the other sound schemes except "Windows Default" and there are no sound schemes The other sound schemes ("Afternoon","Cityscapes","Garden", etc.) except "Windows Default" are missing. I have problem with sound schemes in personalization control panel.
